Meet the Bottlenose Dolphins
Embark on a journey to discover the bottlenose dolphins and various species in the Marine Natural Park of the Gulf of Lion, off the coast of Argelès.
Also known as Tursiops (Tursiops truncatus), the bottlenose dolphin is commonly found in the park and along the Catalan coasts. Naturally social, it travels in groups, usually consisting of around a dozen individuals. Our excursions may also allow you to observe schools of bluefin tuna, sunfish, and seabirds such as seagulls, gulls, gannets, and puffins…

High demand: this trip often sells out more than a week in advance. We recommend booking online at the start of your stay.
- Sightings not guaranteed: dolphin encounters are exceptional (97% success rate since 2017), but this is a natural environment with no guaranteed sightings.
