- Due to very high demand, we often sell out more than a week in advance. We strongly recommend booking your spots online, preferably at the beginning of your stay.
- Our observation rate is typically around 97% since 2017, which is exceptional. However, since the outings take place in a natural environment, the systematic observation of cetaceans and other species cannot be guaranteed.
- Certified High Quality Whales Watching®, the time for observing cetaceans is limited to 30 minutes. Therefore, the duration of the trip may vary, affecting the return time. By choosing an operator that adheres to the principles of not disturbing dolphins and other species, you contribute to the harmonious and sustainable development of the activity and participate in the preservation of these species in their marine environment. - In case of bad weather, children, elderly individuals, persons with reduced mobility, and sensitive individuals will be advised to postpone or cancel the trip for a refund. - The Marilou departs from Port-Barcarès at 7:30 AM and heads south, stopping for a few minutes at Canet, St Cyprien, Collioure, and then Argelès to board all passengers. The departure base for the "Discovery of the Bottlenose Dolphin" tour is the port of Argelès, please take note of this.
- Please bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, as well as a windbreaker and/or warm clothing. Remember to protect your cameras, and other electronic devices from the sea spray. This is also a great opportunity to use your binoculars.
- As the trip overlaps with meal times, your picnic is welcome.

- Swimming takes place from the ship, at anchor. It is not supervised. Non-swimmers are not allowed to enter the water. The supervision of children is the responsibility of the parents.
- Passengers boarding in Collioure will have a waiting time of 15 to 35 minutes in Argelès, both on the way there and on the return.
- We provide free paddles, fins, masks, and snorkels (subject to availability and stock). Paddleboarding is allowed up to 25 km/h of wind. No lessons for paddleboarding or swimming with fins, mask, and snorkel can be provided.
- We do not recommend bringing dogs on this service due to the boat being anchored.
